As a routine activity in the framework of securing and supervising the coastal area, the Water and Air Police Unit of the Tabanan Police, conducts security in the Tanah Lot Beach area which is a tourist destination. As on Friday, June 2, 2023, it was seen that personnel from the Water and Air Police Unit of the Tabanan Police gave a security appeal when carrying out security at Tanah Lot Beach.
With the permission of the Head of Tabanan Police Resort AKBP Leo Dedy Defretes, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., Head of the Water and Air Police Unit AKP I Nyoman Artadana, S.H., M.H., said that "routine security activities carried out by the Tabanan Police Airud Unit Personnel at Tanah Lot Beach are as follows: form of service in order to create a conducive safety (Kamtibmas) situation in the jurisdiction of the Tabanan Police, especially at Tanah Lot Beach which is a tourist destination," said Head of the Water and Air Police Unit
Head of the Water and Air Police Unit explained that in this security, the Water and Air Police Unit collaborated with Tanah Lot Subsector Police Personnel - Kediri Police, Lifeguards DTW Tanah Lot and Pecalang Tanah Lot Temple. Meanwhile, it was also conveyed that the security situation in the Tanah Lot DTW area was still safe. Tourist visits are quite busy both domestic and foreign. "We are from the the Water and Air Police Unit , still urge all visitors/tourists to always be careful and alert when walking on slippery rocks. Likewise, when taking selfies, don't do it near the sea waves. Even though it's starting to point towards the vigilance of all of us must be maintained in order to create a conducive safety situation," stressed AKP I Nyoman Artandana, S.H., M.H.
Based on monitoring at the location, it appears that the weather is sunny, the sea wave height reaches 0.50 (quite gentle), the wind is not that strong. Tourist visits are quite busy, dominated by domestic tourist visits due to national holidays.
